I am a photographer based in Madrid, with an interest in documentary and editorial photography. Daughter of Andalusian immigrants, through my work I travel the geography of my family nostalgia. With my medium-format camera, I visit cities where I didn’t grow up and witness traditions I didn’t experience, in order to begin constructing my own personal narrative. With a palette of vivid and warm tones, I try to capture the connections between people within a single community or family household. I’m interested in the complexity of human relationships and how my generation looks to the past in an effort to better understand the present.
