I made in the year 2023.
With this piece I wanted to remember the posts where the ships are moored, and thus have near the port of La Atunara, in Cadiz, where my family is from. In Spanish they are called “noray”.
With this piece I let myself be guided by the clay, looking for a very organic and bony form. The finish was a mixture of oxides that reinforces the bone aspect. As if it were something you stumbled upon in the field, something wild.
